High Intensity Goaltending School

This Sunday to Thursday course covers all the fundamentals and many advanced techniques. Students will benefit from the on ice sessions, classroom discussions in addition to an excellent dryland preparation program, including many innovative and enjoyable drills.

The program takes training to the next level and involves more game situations, faster paced action and much more intense drills than the 'Essentials' course. While our goal is NOT to work a student to exhaustion but rather to nurture them and instruct them through the intricacies of their movements and motions. We do caution younger goaltenders that this program is very physically demanding and may be too strenuous, it is recommended for only competitive goalies or those with several years of experience.

We suggest students who are not 100% sure that they are ready for this program, consider the Intensity Prep (IP) course. This program combines some of the more demanding and high paced drills of Intensity with the Essentials offering.

The High Intensity course is best combined with our 'Personal Guru' program for the complete and ultimate in goaltender training.

FEATURES OF THIS PROGRAM

-Parent & Student Seminar on Sunday. Unlike any other program in existence. Designed to keep parents informed and educated. This program is included with all student registrations, but parents MUST register to attend.
-Completely redesigned evaluation forms with detailed comments on each area

-Only in London, ON
-20 hours total ice time
-Limited spaces are still available
-One goaltending instructor for every three students
-Only 4 Goaltenders per on ice station Sunday to Tuesday
-2 Instructors per station Wednesday & Thursday
-24-page student workbook that will be completed during the week and will become a training guide
-More game type situational drills that allow our instructors to better evaluate
-Skilled shooters include 'AA' or higher players
-Restricted to goaltenders ages 11 and up, including adults
-Earlier final day completion time to help accommodate travel schedules
-Fast paced and involved itinerary
-Approx. time: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
-Program held at the Western Fair Sports Centre
