Intensity Prep Goaltending School

This all new program is the perfect 'stepping stone' from Essentials to Intensity . We run the Essential Guru program concurrently on the ice with the Essentials, but we place these students in their own separate groups with their own Intensity/Guru instructor who will be there to guide and push the students for the entire week. Students will benefit from more personal instruction and a familiarity with their instructors.

Students who want more of a challenge, but aren't prepared or ready for the Intensity program should seriously consider the Essential Guru program. This course takes the Essentials and 'cranks it up' near the Intensity level, but with more basic drills. Combine this with your own Intensity instructor who will stay with your group for the entire week, lowering the student to instructor ratio and you have a very demanding program suitable for any level or aged goaltender.

The students are run through similar drills to those in the Essentials program, but we 'turn things up' to challenge them and push their boundaries. Many of the drills in the Essential Guru program will be as demanding as those in the Intensity program, but the overall program will be a bit more 'forgiving'. Goaltenders from AAA to House League benefit and enjoy this program and be challenged by it.

This fast paced program course covers all the fundamentals and many advanced techniques. Students will benefit from the on ice sessions, classroom discussions in addition to an excellent dryland preparation program, including many innovative and enjoyable drills.
Students wanting more personal instruction may consider adding the 'Personal Guru' program to this school to complete the experience.

FEATURES OF THIS PROGRAM

-Parent & Student Seminar on Sunday. Unlike any other program in existence. Designed to keep parents informed and educated. This program is included with all student registrations, but parents MUST register to attend.
-Completely redesigned evaluation forms with detailed comments on each area.

18 TO 20 hours total ice time
Limited spaces are still available
One goaltending instructor for every 2.5 students
Skilled shooters include 'A' or higher players
Open to goaltenders aged 11 and up, including adults
Dryland training and off ice conditioning
Earlier final day completion time to help accommodate travel schedules
Fast paced and involved itinerary
Approx. time: 9:15 AM to 4:30 PM daily
Program held at the Western Fair Sports Centre
